Admission Procedure

ADMISSION CRITERIA
a) All the programmes have limited seats announced after the approval of Academic Council of the University. Number of seats displayed on university website before the counselling starts. Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University, Uttarakhand reserves the right to variation of seats. Only the predetermined number of students may be admitted to any of the academic Programmes.

b) Admissions to any academic programme in the Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University, Uttarakhand will be made on the basis of merit determined as per the procedure laid down by the University. (entrance marks for professional and technical courses, marks obtained in the qualifying examination). Merit list prepared on the basis of merit prepared either on the basis of entrance or marks in qualifying examination.

c) University may conduct its own entrance test, interview, counselling, direct admission or any other basis as per the specific requirements of the particular academic programme and the weightage to be assigned for various admission criteria shall be as prescribed by the University from time to time.
